Heavenly iced buns
Ingredients

3 bowls, wooden spoon, Microwave / hob , warm place , baking sheet, grease proof paper, tea towel, oven, teaspoon
Step 1/8
- 50 g bread flour
- 5 g caster sugar
- 4 g butter
- ¼ eggs
- 1⅜ g instant yeast
- ¼ tsp salt
- 15 ml milk
- 14 ml water

Warm the milk and place all the ingredients in a bowl and combine.

Turn the dough onto a heavily floured surface and knead for 10 minutes until elastic in texture

Put the dough back into the bowl and leave to rise in a warm place for 1 hour, covered with a damp tea towel

Divide the dough into buns and place evenly spaced on a baking tray with grease proof paper

Cover the dough with a tea towel and leave in a warm place for 40 minutes

Bake in the oven for 10 minutes or until pale golden, and cut into smaller buns if necessary

- 20 g icing sugar (for the icing)
- ⅓ tsp water (for the icing)

Mix the icing sugar and water in a bowl to create a thick paste

Once the buns have cooled, dip the buns upside down into the icing and serve fresh
