When Allegra Wappler’s kids want fresh buns on the weekend, this scones recipe comes to the rescue. These are a million times tastier than shop-bought bread buns, and don’t require a lengthy baking procedure. Serve with jam, or berries and cream. Yum!

Community member Klärchen shared the perfect salad recipe with us. This very versatile couscous, arugula, and tomato-based salad can be served as a light main course, a starter, or a side for barbecues, picnics, or as an office lunch. Tasty all year around (not just in summer)!

Chocolate and apple cake

Looking for the ultimate comfort cake? Tellpas’ chocolate and apple cake is wonderfully sweet and fruity, easy to prepare, and can be made ahead. What’s not to like? Serve with caramel sauce and brittle or candied nuts to wow your guests!

Summer spaghetti

Summer spaghetti

A summer holiday in Tuscany inspired ankehhh to create this recipe. Pasta and mozzarella make this dish filling, yet the arugula and tomatoes give it freshness. Get creative and garnish with balsamic cream!

Need new inspiration for a side dish, or an exciting way to serve broccoli? Patrick Pailliart shows us how! The first barbecue of the year may be a while away, but you can really eat this all year round.

Strawberry and cucumber salad

Fresh, fresh, fresh! Lucy Reim’s unusual salad is full of color and shows that strawberries and cucumbers are a dream team. The salad is vegan, gluten- and lactose-free, light, sweet, and savory, and belongs on every brunch table next spring and summer.

Tellpas’ cakes made an impression for sure, and this tangy lemon cake is a must-try! It’s quick to make, lovely moist and sour, and looks stunning. Happy baking!
