White sauce pasta

Step 1/5
- 1 tsp salt
- 200 g penne
- olive oil

Add a few drops of oil and a pinch of salt to some water and bring it a boil. To the boiling water, add the penne shells and cook for around 8 mins. Keep mixing in between to ensure they don’t stick together. Once the pasta is cooked, drain the water and keep the pasta aside.

- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 onions
- 1 bell pepper
- ½ broccoli
- 1 tsp oregano
- ½ tsp chili flakes

To a fresh pan, add a around 2 full spoons of olive oil. Once heated, add crushed/ finely chopped garlic and chilli flakes. Then add the diced onion and cook for few mins. To this add the bell pepper and broccoli. Use salt to speed up the cooking of the vegetables. Sprinkle oregano.
Step 3/5
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 tbsp butter
- 100 ml milk
- ½ tsp pepper
Add the butter to a new pan, once it melts, add the flour and mix to ensure there are no lumps. Next, add milk and keep stirring to avoid lumps. Allow the mixture to thicken as the milk boils, keep stirring. Sprinkle pepper and very little salt. Add some cheese after turning off the flame and mix well.

Add the cooked pasta to the vegetables and mix well.
Step 5/5
Pour the white sauce on to this and mix all ingredients together. Garnish with more cheese and serve hot :)
