Hand cheese marinated in pickled onion (Handkäs mit Musik)

- 4 onions

Place hand cheese slices on a shallow dish. Peel and finely dice onion.

- 5 tbsp white wine vinegar
- 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 4 tbsp apple juice
- 4 tbsp sunflower oil
- 1 tsp caraway seed
- salt
- pepper
- bowl
- whisk
Whisk together vinegar, apple juice, and oil in a small bowl. Season with freshly ground pepper and a little salt, then add caraway seeds and onion.

Spread marinade over hand cheese and let it marinate in the fridge overnight.
