Step 1/7

- ⅔ carrots
- ⅔ stalks celery
- ⅓ clove garlic

Peel and dice the onion and garlic. Rinse the celery and carrots and cut them into small cubes.

- 166⅔ g mixed ground meat
- 33⅓ g olive oil
- cast iron pot
Heat some olive oil in a large heavy-bottomed pot and sear the ground meat for approx. 5 min. or until nice and brown.

Add and sauté the diced carrots, celery, onions and garlic. 🥕
Step 4/7
- ⅔ strips lemon peels
- ⅓ leaf bay leaf
- 2 sprigs rosemary
Add two strips of lemon zest, bay leaf, and rosemary. 🍋

- 133⅓ g canned whole peeled tomatoes
Add the canned tomatoes.🥫
Step 6/7
Let simmer for approx. 2 -3 h. covered over medium-high heat.
Step 7/7
Serve the Bolognese sauce with spaghetti. I like to add some parmesan and in this case some wild garlic pesto. 🍝
