Cheesy white bean and ham bake

Step 1/ 3
- 75 g ham
- 400 g canned white beans
- 1 cloves garlic
- ½ onion
- oven

- cutting board

Preheat the oven to 200°C/390°F. Cut the ham into small pieces. Rinse the white beans under running water until the water runs clear. Finely dice the garlic and onion.

- olive oil (for frying)
- 25 g tomato paste
- 175 g canned crushed tomatoes
- ½ tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- salt
- pepper
- frying pan
- cooking spoon
Add some olive oil to a frying pan or ovenproof dish. Then add garlic and onion and sauté until glossy. Add the beans and tomato paste, and cook briefly. Stir in the canned crushed tomatoes and Worcestershire sauce and bring everything to a boil. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Step 3/ 3
- 25 g Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 25 g Alpine cheese
If necessary, transfer the beans to a baking dish. Stir in the ham and sprinkle with cheese. Bake in the preheated oven at 200°C/390°F for approx. 20 min. Enjoy!
