“To achieve an American-style smash burger at home is easier than you think, and this recipe is the simplest of approaches. It’s important to use a cast iron pan for the ultimate sear on the meat, and make sure it’s super hot before adding the meat. I prefer my smash burgers quite simple, with only the most classic toppings, but you can also add bacon, fried or grilled onions, or switch up the cheese.”
