“This is a really simple way to make soufflĂ© pancake. The measurment isn't complicated, and there aren't a lot of ingredients. You could make this for a snack when you feel like eating pancakes. Try it with whipped cream!”

Ingredients

egg yolk
egg white
1 tbsp sugar
Âœ tsp baking powder
1Âœ tbsp flour
1 tbsp milk
maple syrup (for serving)
mixed berries (for serving)
confectioner’s sugar (for serving)

  • hand mixer with beaters

  • frying pan
  • Step 1/4

    • egg yolk
    • Âœ tsp baking powder
    • 1Âœ tbsp flour
    • 1 tbsp milk
    • 2 bowls
    • whisk

    First, mix the egg yolk with baking powder and flour. Then, add milk and mix until it is smooth or liquidy. Add more milk as necessary.

    • hand mixer with beaters

    Second, make the meringue. Add egg white and sugar to a bowl and whisk until fully mixed. Using a handmixer, beat until it has stiff peaks.

    Add the egg yolk mixture to egg white mixture and mix gently until combined. Then, put a spoonful of batter on a preheated frying pan. Keep adding spoonful of batter until you are satisfied of how tall your pancake is. Fry for approximately 5 min. Filp and fry for 3 more min.

    Serve with whipped cream, maple syrup, or fruits. Enjoy!
