Thick and Crispy Pizza Dough
stand mixer with dough hook, cutting board, plastic wrap, bowl, baking sheet, pizza wheel
- ⅔ tbsp active dry yeast
- ½ cup water (hot)
add the yeast into the hot water and let it sit about 10 minutes to bloom. You’ll know it’s bloomed when there’s tanish bubbles on top.
- 2⅓ cups flour
- ⅔ dash salt
- 2½ tsp olive oil

In a stand mixer mix the olive oil and the flour for 2 minutes then add the bloomed yeast. Mix for about 5 minutes or until the dough has formed a ball then dump your dough out of the mixer and on to a cutting board knead your dough for about 6 minutes or until your dough is fully combined and glossy.

add your dough to a well oiled and cover bowl for anywhere from 30 minutes to 5 hours.
- baking sheet
Take your dough out of the bowl it should be much bigger and thicker oil a sheet pan and place your dough down and roll it out. place whatever toppings you desire in top.
- pizza wheel
Place your sheet in the oven and let that cook for 30-45 minutes then take your pizza out of the oven and let sit a minute then cut into slices.
