- 1½ cups cake flour
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1½ tsp salt
- 2 tsp corn starch
- ½ tsp baking soda
in a medium size mixing bowl, combine the cake flour, all purpose flour, corn starch, salt, and baking soda.

- 1¼ cups unsalted butter (melted)
- 1¼ cups brown sugar
- ½ cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3 egg yolks
using a mixer, combine the brown sugar and while sugar, then slowly add in the melted butter. Finally add in the eggs and egg yolk one at a time

after the butter had been mixed in with the sugar, slowly add in the dry ingredients of flour

- stand mixer with dough mixer
once the items are all mixed together, add in chocolate pieces (or nuts if you prefer)

chill the cookie dough for at least 45 mins, the longer the better

roll the dough at 6oz per piece, the taller the dough, the taller the cookie.

preheat oven to 420 degrees and bake 10 to 13 mins till lightly brown on the outside
