Sunrise Mango Oatmeal
- 200 ml unsweetened almond milk
- 200 ml water
Add the milk and the water in a small saucepan and bring it to a boil.
- 90 g old-fashioned rolled oats
Once boiling, drop the temperature down to a gentle simmer and add the oats. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring here and there.
Then shut of the heat and move the pot off the burner. Cover and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
Add the cinnamon and nutmeg and stir to combine.
- 150 g chopped ripe mango
- 50 g chopped Brazil nuts
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- 12 g unsweetened coconut flakes
Transfer the oats to a bowl, top it up with the mango and Brazil nuts, and drizzle with maple syrup. Sprinkle additional cinnamon and add the coconut flakes.
