78 g
baking powder
46 ml
Warm water
14⅝ g
room temperature butter or 59 ml vegetable oil
¼ pinch

whisk, bowl, frying pan, rolling pin, plate

  • Step 1/8

    • 78 g flour
    • tsp baking powder
    • ¼ pinch salt
    • whisk
    • bowl

Add the flour, baking powder and salt to a big bowl, and whisk it all together.

  • Step 2/8

    • 14⅝ g room temperature butter or 59 ml vegetable oil

Add the butter/oil to the dyr ingredients, and mix it together in your hands, untill it’s well combined.

  • Step 3/8

    • 46 ml Warm water

Add the warm water to the flour-mixture, and combinde it (still) with your hands, untill it’s one dough. If the dough is to wet, add flour a little at a time, untill it only Stick a little to your fingers, but don’t let it get dry at all, by adding to much flour!

  • Step 4/8

Take the dough out on a table and knead it untill it dosen’t stick to your fingers anymore (for about 10-20 minutes), with only a LITTLE amount of flour.

  • Step 5/8

Divide the the dough into 10 pieces, form them into buns. Put them back into the bowl again, cover them with steamed cloth, and let them rest for atleast 15 min.

  • Step 6/8

    • frying pan
    • rolling pin

When the dough is done resting, heat the pan on High heat, while you begin to roll out the buns thin, but not to thin - only one by one-, and put them on the hot pan.

  • Step 7/8

    • plate

Flip the tortillas when its slighly browned, and put them on a plate when done. Note: They will get done VERY fast, so keep an eye on them, and dont brown them TO much, ‘cause then they will get hard and crunchy.

  • Step 8/8

Keep doing this proces untill you made all the tortillas.
