baking soda

  • Step 1/ 4

    • cup salted butter (soft)
    • oz pumpkin purée
    • ¼ cups sugar
    • cup brown sugar
    • eggs
    • tsp salt
    • ¼ tsp vanilla extract
    • bowl
    • hand mixer with beaters

    add butter, sugar, eggs, salt, vanilla extract and pumpkin purée in a large mixing bowl. mix with hand mixer until one smooth consistency.

    • tsp pumpkin pie spice
    • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
    • cups flour
    • ¼ tsp baking soda
    • tsp corn starch

    add cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, flour, baking soda and corn starch and mix with hand mixer or spoon or spatula until one smooth batter consistency.

  • Step 3/ 4

    optional step: make a crumble to put inside and on the top of the bread. ingredients are: 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup butter (softened), 1/2 cup flour, 1/4 cup oats

  • Step 4/ 4

    scoop the batter into greased pans, leaving 1/2 inch to 1 inch of room at the top for rising and put in oven at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 60-70 minutes. this is when you’d add the optional crumble, if you’d like, add a bit on top of the batter after every 2-3 scoops in the pan and cover the tops once the pans are full.
