Peanut Butter Swirl Brownies

“These peanut butter brownies are the perfect pairing of flavours with the oh so obvious chocolate brownie. I can’t think of a better combo. These peanut butter swirl brownies are very easy to make and don’t require a lot of effort! Serve these warm out of the oven with a scoop of ice cream. They are my signature brownie recipe!”

Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter melted
2 cups granulated sugar
3/4 cup cocoa powder
4 eggs
1/2 TSP salt
1 TBSP vanilla extract
2/3 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup Dark chocolate
1/2 cup peanut butter

  • Step 1/9

    • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
    • 2 cups granulated sugar
    • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
    • wooden spoon
    • saucepan

    In a saucepan on medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, stir in the sugar and cocoa powder.

    • 1/2 TSP salt
    • 1 TBSP vanilla extract

    Remove from the saucepan and pour into a mixing bowl. Let cool for 5 minutes. Stir in salt and vanilla.

    Preheat the oven to 325F.

    • 4 eggs

    Beat the eggs in one by one into the mix.

    • 2/3 cup all-purpose flour

    Stir in the flour. You can use any flour but preferably all purpose flour.

    • 1 cup Dark chocolate

    Weigh approx 200 g or 1 cup of dark of chocolate. Cut the chocolate into small chunks. Stir into the mix.

    Transfer into a 9x9 baking pan lined with parchment paper or oil.

    • 1/2 cup peanut butter

    • skewer

    Melt the peanut butter in the microwave for 30 seconds. Drizzle over the brownie batter, and draw swirls in the mix with a sharp edged object.

    Bake in the oven for 40 minutes, then let cool for 1H.
