"Matcha is a type of green tea that’s grinded into a powder. It’s important to source a high quality matcha that’s bright green to avoid it from clumping together when you whisk it. You can use a small fine bamboo whisk, but a milk frother or a small metal whisk will also do the job. If you like ginger, add half a teaspoon of ginger powder to the matcha powder before you mix everything for an even more exciting and complex taste."

Add matcha powder to a small bowl. Use a matcha whisk to mix matcha with some hot water until smooth. Once smooth, add the rest of the hot water.
