"These are German pancakes or known as Pfannkuchen in German. These are thin delicious pancakes similar to crepes. You can eat these in many different ways, try savory with sautéed mushrooms and onions with melted cheese, or sweet with applesauce and cinnamon. Try Nutella with bananas, or strawberries and whipped cream."

Ingredients

1 cups
flour
1 cups
Milk

eggs
¼ tbsp
salt
¼ cup
vegetable oil

Utensils

whisk, bowl, sauté pan, cooking spoon, spatula

    • 1 cups flour
    • 1 cups Milk
    • 2 eggs
    • whisk
    • bowl

    Combine flour, eggs, and milk and whisk together

  • Step 2/6

    • ¼ tbsp salt

    Add a pinch of salt to taste

  • Step 3/6

    If mixture is too liquify, add more flour. If too thick, add more milk.

  • Step 4/6

    • ¼ cup vegetable oil
    • sauté pan
    • cooking spoon
    • spatula

    Add a little bit of oil to the pan. Use a spoon to poor out the mixture into the pan. Wait until the top layer is dry than flip over

  • Step 5/6

    Taste first couple pancakes. If too dry, add another egg. If not salty enough, add another pinch of salt

  • Step 6/6

    Finish off them with either applesauce and cinnamon, sautéed mushrooms and onions with cheese, strawberries and whipped cream, bananas and Nutella, whatever you like
