Cut up both the chorizo and bacon slices into bite size pieces and add into a hot pan with a oil coating. Cook till fat is rendered
Add chopped onion, garlic, and chopped bell pepper into the pan with bacon and chorizo. Cook until the onions are translucent.￼￼
Once onion is translucent, add the spices, tomato paste and dry rice to the pan. Stir for one minute before adding water and beans and bay leafs.Bring to a medium high heat until the water starts boiling then return heat to medium low and place a lid over￼.
Once water has cooked off remove Bay leaves from the rice and serve￼.
