“A favorite cookie recipe from my childhood. These are perfect fresh out of the oven or frozen. I recommend making a double batch because they always go quickly!”

Ingredients

¾ cup Butter Flavored Crisco Shortening
1¼ cups brown sugar
2 tbsp milk
1 tbsp vanilla extract

1¾ cups All purpose flour
1 tsp salt
¾ tsp Baking soda
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chip

  • 3 stand mixers with paddles

    Heat oven to 375°F

    Place sheets of foil or metal racks on countertop for cooling cookies

    • ¾ cup Butter Flavored Crisco Shortening
    • 1¼ cups brown sugar
    • 2 tbsp milk
    • 1 tbsp vanilla extract

    Combine the butter flavored Crisco, brown sugar, milk, and vanilla in a large bowl. Beat at medium using an electric hand or stand mixer.
