750 g potatoes, peeled and cooked
90 g butter
150 ml milk
½ tsp nutmeg
10 g chives
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste

    The potatoes must be cooked well prior to mashing, which will make it easier to achieve a smooth consistency. It’s always better to use floury potatoes for mashed potato, as they have a higher starch content and they therefore fall apart slightly when cooking, which makes it a lot easier for you to mash them when they’re ready!
