Ingredients

125 g butter (soft)
175 g flour
1 pinch salt
½ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp baking soda
90 g cane sugar
35 g muscovado sugar
4 g vanilla sugar
egg
200 g chocolate

Utensils

  • hand mixer with beaters
  • Step 1/8

    • 125 g butter (soft)

    Measure butter and allow it to get soft

  • Step 2/8

    • 175 g flour
    • 1 pinch salt
    • ½ tsp baking powder
    • ¼ tsp baking soda

    Mix the flour, salt, baking power and backing soda

  • Step 3/8

    • 90 g cane sugar
    • 35 g muscovado sugar
    • 4 g vanilla sugar
    • hand mixer with beaters

    In another bowl, mix the soft butter with the sugars (vanilla, muscovado and cane sugar)

  • Step 4/8

    • egg

    Add egg to butter mix

  • Step 5/8

    Add the flour mix to the sugar mix and knead by hand

  • Step 6/8

    • 200 g chocolate

    Add chocolate and keep kneading by hand

  • Step 7/8

    Chill for 1hr (optional)

  • Step 8/8

    Bake for 10-12 min at 175°C
