chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
Step 1/6
- ⅛ cup margarine
- ⅛ cup brown sugar
- ⅛ cup sugar
In a sauce pan, brown the butter and then combine (off the heat) with the sugars.
Step 2/6
- ⅛ egg
- ⅛ tsp vanilla extract
- ⅛ tsp salt
Whisk in the salt, egg and vanilla vigorously.
Step 3/6
- ¼ cups flour
- ⅛ tsp baking soda
Gently fold in the dry ingredients. Combine until only few streaks of flour are visible.
Step 4/6
- ⅛ chocolate bar
Chop the chocolate into chunks and fold into the dough. Let the dough chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
Step 5/6
Preheat the oven to 350F (190C) and line a baking sheet. Scoop the dough into balls and place on the sheet with 3 fingers distance between them.
Step 6/6
Bake the cookies 13 minutes and then let them cool on the sheet 5 minutes, before transferring them to a cooling rack.
