Brown coconut baguette with sesame
Ingredients
Step 1/6
- 14 g active dry yeast
- 300 ml water (lukewarm)
Mixing active dry yeast with lukewarm water, set aside for 5 minutes
Step 2/6
- 300 g whole-wheat flour
- 100 g unsweetened coconut flakes
- 50 g dark brown sugar
Mixing flour, coconut, dark brown sugar in a big bowl
Step 3/6
Add the mixture of water and yeast into the flour bowl, make sure all the ingredient is together.
Step 4/6
Start to knead it well about 3-4 minutes and put it back in the bowl. Cover with a towel or plastic on the top, let’s they rest and rise in an hour.
Step 5/6
Take the dough out, cut into 2 equal pieces. Roll it into thin layer and then start to wrap it again into baguette form. Put it in the baguette tray. Do same for other pieces. Let’s both of them rest and rise the second time for 30 minutes by covering on the top with a towel.

- olive oil (for coating)
Preheat the oven in 10 minutes before baking. After 30 minutes of resting, sweeping olive oil on the top of baguette, add sesame seed and then bake them in 25 minutes with 190-200 degree. Put one pot of hot water inside the oven at the same time.
