Brown Butter Cookies
Ingredients
Step 1/7
- 12 g Butter
Over a high heat, place the butter in a pot. While stirring constantly melt the butter until it turns dark brown. Then put in a bowl and let it cool in the fridge.

- 18 g brown sugar
- 5 g White Sugar
- ⅛ tsp vanilla extract
- ⅛ tsp salt
Place the two sugars, vanilla, salt and the cooled brown butter in a bowl and mix until well combined.

- ⅛ egg
Add the egg and continue to stir with a whisk.
Step 4/7
- ⅛ tsp baking powder
- ⅛ tsp baking soda
- ⅛ tsp Bread soda
- 21 g Self raising flour
Add the flour, baking soda, baking powder and bread soda. *Bread soda makes the cookie more chewy and soft.
Step 5/7
- 10 g Milk chocolate chunks
- 10 g Dark chocolate chunks
Mix in the chocolate chunks. Then roll the dough into 30g balls, and put in the freezer overnight.
Step 6/7
After the cookies come out from the freezer, bake them for 10-12 mins at 190 C. Then let them cool for 10 mins before you eat them.
