Ingredients

110 g Vegan butter
200 g brown sugar
1 tbsp cornflour
1 tbsp water
1 tsp vanilla extract
180 g all purpose flour (plain flour)
1 pinch salt
½ tsp baking powder
3 tbsp cocoa powder (vegan)
1 bar vegan chocolate

    Preheat the oven to 190°C

  • Step 2/10

    • 110 g Vegan butter
    • 200 g brown sugar
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract
    • wooden spoon

    Cream the butter sugar and vanilla extract in a bowl

  • Step 3/10

    • 1 tbsp cornflour
    • 1 tbsp water
    • jug or cup

    Mix the cornflour and water in a small jug or cup

    Mix together the cornflour mix and butter mix

    • 180 g all purpose flour (plain flour)
    • 1 pinch salt
    • ½ tsp baking powder
    • 3 tbsp cocoa powder (vegan)

    Add flour,salt, baking powder,cocoa powder and mix well

  • Step 6/10

    • 1 bar vegan chocolate

    Break up the bar of chocolate into small pieces

    Add the choc chips into the mixture

  • Step 8/10

    Roll into 16 balls and place on a greased baking tray

  • Step 9/10

    Bake for 10- 15 minutes

    Store in an airtight container for up to 2-4 days
