Ingredients

potatoes
onion
inch ginger

green chilis
coriander to garnish

cumin seeds

black cumin seeds
hing to taste

ground turmeric
½ tsp
cumin powder
½ tsp
coriander powder

  • Step 1/5

    Cut cauliflower into small florets. Cube potatoes. Chop onions, grate ginger and cut chillies small.

    • 1⅓ green chilis
    • coriander to garnish
    • 1 tsp cumin seeds
    • tsp black cumin seeds
    • hing to taste
    • ½ tsp cumin powder

    Add oil in pan. Add cumin seeds, black cumin seeds, a pinch hing, 2 to 3 bay leaves and turmeric.

    When cumin splutters add onions, ginger and chillies. Add salt, and roast till onions become translucent.

    • 2⅔ potatoes
    • 2 bay leaves
    • tsp ground turmeric

    Add a dash of cumin and coriander powder. Add cauliflower and potatoes and combine well.

  • Step 5/5

    Cover and cook stirring occasionally till vegetable are cooked. Garnish with coriander.
