Introducing Home Connect

The latest feature we’re excited to share is part of the collaboration with BSH Home Appliances Group, specifically with Home Connect. It allows you to send recipe settings to your connected oven from Siemens, Bosch, Gaggenau, Neff, or Thermador via the app. With the click of a button you'll always have the right program, temperature, and time in front of your eyes. Everyday cooking can be so simple!

Here at Kitchen Stories we have one main goal in mind: Make everyday cooking easy. How? We write stories to help you perfect your risotto or introduce you to ingredients you might not have used before and we develop, test, and publish tons of easy to follow recipes with step-by-step instructions (and videos!). Last but not least, we offer lots of cool features within our platform like cookbook+ (which allows you to save recipes from all over the web into your handy Kitchen Stories cookbooks) and our recipe uploader that lets you share your own recipes with our global community!

Here’s how to use Home Connect

Step 1: Open the Kitchen Stories application on your smartphone or device and login or set up your account.

Step 2: Open your settings by first clicking on your profile and then clicking on the settings menu button in the top right corner of the screen.

Step 3: Scroll until you see “Appliances,” then click the toggle switch to turn on Home Connect.

Step 4: Link your Home Connect account with your Kitchen Stories app. Make sure you have a registered Home Connect account and a paired oven. Now you’re ready to cook in your kitchen of the future!

Step 5: Get cooking! Each time you cook a recipe within our platform that includes a connected oven, you’ll receive prompts while cooking to connect to the appliance, preheat it, and more!
