tamarind paste

Cinnamon

⅔ cups
chili powder
⅛ cup
ground turmeric
⅛ cup
Coriander powder
⅛ cup
Cumin powder
1 tbsp
garlic powder
Step 1/ 6
- 1½ sticks Cinnamon
- 3 Cloves
- ⅔ cups chili powder
- ⅛ cup ground turmeric
- ⅛ cup Coriander powder
- ⅛ cup Cumin powder
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
measure out your dry masala
Step 2/ 6
- ½ Onion
- 2½ cloves garlic
- 1½ Serranos
chop your cut masala
Step 3/ 6
- 1 lbs pork belly
chop pork belly into small cubes
Step 4/ 6
- ½ tbsp ginger garlic paste
fry cut masala in oil, add ginger, season with salt, add dry masala and water
Step 5/ 6
- ½ tbsp tamarind paste
combine tamarind paste with water
Step 6/ 6
add fried cut masala, pork, and tamarind to a pot. cook low and slow for 2 hours.
