Sausage and bean pasta
"Who does not love some baked beans in a delicious tomato sauce for breakfast?! Why not having it in main dish as well? Mix it with your favourite vegetables and some lovely sausages to make it an easy, fast and delicious pasta dish. I don’t want to miss this dish anymore. What about you? Step 1/6
- 5 Frankfurter sausages
- 1 package bell pepper mix
- 1 leek
- penne pasta
Bring the pasta to the boil. Cut the vegetables and sausages. Heat up some oil in a pot or deep pan and start frying the sausages and peppers for about 1-2 min. Season with paprika powder

Add the leek and fry for another minute

- 2 tbsp tomato purée
- 100 ml vegetable broth
Add the tomato purée and fry over a high heat for another minute. Then pour in the broth and cook for 30seconds then turn down the heat

- 1 tin baked beans
- salt, pepper, paprika and chili
Pour in the baked beans and season with salt, pepper and paprika. You can add some chili as well if you like. Simmer for 5 minutes

Add the pasta straight away out of the boiling water. Use a slotted ladle or a sieve. Stir well and season again

If you prepare this dish ahead you can either boil the pasta later or add some water when you warm it up. Enjoy
