- Half a cucumber
Slice the cucumber and place it in a bowl.

Spoon over the rice vinegar, soy sauce, chilli flakes, and sesame seeds. Combine so the cucumber is coated in the liquid.

Leave to sit in the pickling liquid for at least 5 minutes.
