Mix wet ingredients in a cup first beating the egg and then adding milk, warm water.
In another bowl, mix dry ingredients and gently combine with the wet ingredients until smooth.
Pour the mixture into a hot pan to form pancake-size circles. Once browned, flip over to the other side until cooked through.
Pour 1/3 cup of golden syrup in a cup and grate 3/4 zest of an orange. Squeeze half an orange and stir gently.
Plate the pancakes and top with fresh fruits. Lightly dust with flour and serve with the syrup as poured right before eating to prevent sogginess.
