- 1⅔ slices sourdough bread
First, preheat oven to 325F. Cut off bread crusts and butter bread on both sides. Place flat covering the bottom of the dish.
- ⅓ lb Italian sausage (or diced ham or bacon pieces)
- 3⅓ eggs
- ⅓ cup diced green chilis
- ½ cups milk
Sprinkle the meat and diced green chilis. Beat the eggs and milk together and pour that on top.
- ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
Sprinkle the shredded cheese, and let the whole thing stand for about 30 minutes.
Bake at 325 F for 45 minutes or until set.
