  • Step 1/3

    Finely chop the garlic and onions. Cut the celery and carrots into cubes. Finely chop the rosemary and thyme. Drain the canned tomatoes in a sieve, reserving the liquid. Then crush the tomatoes with your fingers.

    Finely chop the garlic and onions. Cut the celery and carrots into cubes. Finely chop the rosemary and thyme. Drain the canned tomatoes in a sieve, reserving the liquid. Then crush the tomatoes with your fingers.

    In a large pot over medium heat, sauté tomato pieces in olive oil for approx. 5 minutes. Then sauté the carrots, celery, onions and garlic for approx. 3-4 minutes. Add broth, tomato juice, tomato paste. Then season to taste with salt and pepper. Bring the soup to a boil and simmer for approx. 10 minutes.
