"This recipe is one I use a lot to bake for my family, each time it’s different because I play around with the cinnamon and maple syrup flavours. Some days I will put in alimony a full cup of maple syrup for a really good maple flavour and some days I’ll put in a lot of cinnamon! This is a recipe where you take the base recipe and kinda make it your own, if you want even add chopped nuts or chocolate chips! Great for young ones but every body can enjoy!"

Ingredients

1⅓ tbsp
butter
2 tbsp
brown sugar
Eggs
Large Bananas
1⅓ tbsp
maple syrup
5⅓ tbsp
Flour
tsp
baking powder
tsp
Salt
tbsp
Cinnamon

  • Step 1/7

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9×5 inch pan and set aside.

  • Step 2/7

    • 1⅓ tbsp butter
    • 2 tbsp brown sugar
    • Eggs
    • 1⅓ tbsp maple syrup

    In a bowl cream butter and sugar together till smooth. Add 1 egg at a time until eggs are fully mixed into butter and sugar. Mix in maple syrup.

    • 5⅓ tbsp Flour
    • tsp baking powder
    • tsp Salt
    • tbsp Cinnamon

    In a separate bowl mix all the dry ingredients together, flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Whisk together till fully mixed.

    Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients a little bit at a time till fully incorporated together.

    • Large Bananas

    In a smaller bowl mash the bananas together and mix in with the mixture.

  • Step 6/7

    Bake bread for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick is inserted and comes out clean. Wait for it to cool then serve as a snack and/or with butter!
