grated Parmesan cheese (for serving)

    • 250 g whole-wheat penne

    Put the pasta in boiling water without salt or oil. Use the duration from the package.

    • 1 linguiça calabresa

    Dice the calabresa and fry without any oil, the calabresa will release a lot of fat and it is already very salt.

  • Step 3/5

    • 1 onion
    • 2 garlic

    Dice the onion and smash the garlic. Put it with the calabresa when it start to get dry. Fry until the onion release water.

    • 340 g tomato sauce
    • 2 tsp basil

    Add the tomate sauce and the basil. Cook until the sauce start to boil. Keep stirring.

  • Step 5/5

    • 2 tsp oregano (for serving)
    • grated Parmesan cheese (for serving)

    Drain the water on the pasta pot and mix with the sauce. Add parmesan and oregano. Serve.
