- 2 l water
- 2 kg sugar
Place the sugar and water together in a saucepan and stir until the sugar has dissolved.
- 150 g lemon balm leaves
Roughly pluck the lemon balm leaves and add them to the sugar water as well, stirring occasionally until it begins to boil.
After the syrup has boiled, remove the pot from the heat and let it cool for 15 minutes. Pour into boiled, clean bottles.
