Large onion
6 cloves
garlic

butter/Ghee

Ginger, minced
½ tbsp
ground cumin
½ tbsp
ground coriander
1 tbsp
garam masala
½ tbsp
ground turmeric

chili powder
1 tsp
ground cinnamon
1 cup
Frozen/canned Peas
1 lb
ground lamb
1 tbsp
Chopped Chili pepper (optional)
1 tsp
cayenne pepper
⅓ cup
tomato sauce
½ cup
water
2 leaves
bay leaves
Salt and Pepper to taste
cilantro for garnish
Step 1/11
- 1 Large onion
Dice Onions finely
Step 2/11
- 6 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp Ginger, minced
Mince Garlic and Ginger (or if you’re using paste, skip step)
Step 3/11
- ½ tbsp ground cumin
- ½ tbsp ground coriander
- 1 tbsp garam masala
- ½ tbsp ground turmeric
- ½ tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
Combine seasonings in a small bowl except for salt and pepper
Step 4/11
- 1 tbsp butter/Ghee
Heat up pan with butter/ghee
Step 5/11
Add onions and fry until translucent
Step 6/11
Add ginger and garlic and fry until fragrant (dont burn them!)
Step 7/11
- 1 lb ground lamb
Add lamb and nicely brown it

- 1 tbsp Chopped Chili pepper (optional)
Add seasoning mix and stir well! Add chilis if using too!

- 1 cup Frozen/canned Peas
- ⅓ cup tomato sauce
- ½ cup water
- 2 leaves bay leaves
Add tomato sause and water and bay leaves! Simmer for 10mins then add peas and simmer again for 5-10mins until the liquid becomes viscous!

- Salt and Pepper to taste
- cilantro for garnish
Taste and add Salt and pepper to taste! Add cilantro for garnish! And you are finished!

Best paired with rice and/or Naan
