Sauté the onions on 2 tbsp olive oil until translucent
Add the diced beef and sauté until it gets the color on all sides
Add the sliced mushrooms, celery and bell pepper and cover with water
Once it starts boiling, add the spices and reduce heat to low. Simmer for about 2 hours until the meat is soft and the sauce thickens. Check occasionally to see if you need to add more water to prevent burning
When the meat is cooked and the excess water has evaporated taste to see if you need more seasoning and remove from the stove
Add 2 tbsp Greek yogurt and serve with your favorite vegetables.
