Roughly chop cheddar cheese. Slice tomatoes and red onion into thin rings. Cut the zucchini lengthwise into slices. Pluck leaves from lettuce and set a side. Grate pickles and mix in a bowl with salt, ketchup, mayonnaise and Worcestershire sauce.
Step 2/4
- 187½ g ground beef
- salt

Form the grounded beef into 8 equal balls. With your finger create a well in the middle of each burger and place some cheddar cheese inside. Press two burger patties together so that the cheese is enclosed by the meat. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 3/4

- ½ tbsp white balsamic vinegar
- salt
- sugar

Heat a grill pan over medium-high and grease lightly with vegetable oil. Grill zucchini to form nice grill marks on both sides. Season with salt and sugar. Deglaze with white balsamic vinegar and set aside.
Step 4/4
- 2 burger buns
- vegetable oil (for frying)
- kitchen towel
- spatula
- paper towels
Toast the insides of the burger buns on the grill pan, then wipe the pan with kitchen paper. In the same pan, heat some vegetable oil and fry the onion rings. Then fry the burger patties for approx. 3 – 5 min. on both sides and drain on a kitchen towel. Assemble your Juicy Lucy and enjoy!
