Ingredients

500 g chicken breasts
50 g onions
50 g green bell peppers
1 tbsp ginger
1 tbsp garlic
2 tbsp pepper
2 tbsp salt
egg white
2 tbsp cornflour
2 tbsp flour
2½ tbsp honey
½ tbsp dark soy sauce
2 tbsp chili sauce
1 tbsp tomato sauce
½ tbsp vinegar
200 ml sunflower oil

  • Step 1/9

    • 500 g chicken breasts
    • 2 tbsp pepper
    • 2 tbsp salt
    • egg white
    • 2 tbsp cornflour
    • 2 tbsp flour
    • bowl

    Marinate boneless chicken with pinch of salt, black pepper powder, 1 white egg, corn flour and white flour.

    Rest for 30mins

    Deep fry the marinated chicken in medium flame

    • 2½ tbsp honey
    • ½ tbsp dark soy sauce
    • 2 tbsp chili sauce
    • 1 tbsp tomato sauce
    • ½ tbsp vinegar

    Mix honey, dark soya sauce, red chilli sauce, tomato ketchup and vinegar in a small bowl

    • 1 tbsp ginger
    • 1 tbsp garlic
    • 200 ml sunflower oil
    • nonstick pan

    Heat pan with 200ml of refined oil in medium flame and add finely chopped ginger & garlic and stir fry for 50sec

    • 50 g onions
    • 50 g green bell peppers

    Add onion petals and bell pepper... Stir fry 50sec

  • Step 7/9

    Now add pre mixed sauce and change flame to high for 1min and stir fry. After 1min add 3 tbsp of water and lower flame to medium and stir for 40sec.

    Add fried chicken and mix well. Add salt for taste and sauté for 50sec

    Turn off stove and garnish with spring onions
