Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F. Line a baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.
- 250 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- ¼ tsp salt
- 5 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 230 g flour
- 100 g starch
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp milk
- large mixing bowl
- stand mixer or hand mixer with beaters
Add butter, sugar, and salt to the bowl of a stand mixer or a large mixing bowl and beat until fluffy and lightened in color. Add the eggs one at a time, and stir thoroughly to combine. Add vanilla extract and stir. Mix flour, starch, and baking powder together, add to mixture along with milk, and carefully stir to combine.
Transfer batter to prepared baking pan and bake at 180°C/350°F for approx. 30 – 35 min., or until golden brown. Enjoy!
