Delicious Melting Moment biscuits
Step 1/ 7
Heat oven to 180 degrees centigrade gas mark 4. And Grease two trays.
Step 2/ 7
- 140 g Soft Butter
- 85 g caster sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
Mix the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Then add the vanilla extract.
Step 3/ 7
- 140 g Self raising flour
Add the flour. Stir till thoroughly mixed.
Step 4/ 7
Roll walnut sized pieces of the mixture into balls and toss in rolled oats.
Step 5/ 7
- Quartered glacé cherries
Place on baking trays, flatten slightly and place a small piece of cherry on each biscuit.
Step 6/ 7
Cook for 15 to 20 mins until golden.
Step 7/ 7
Leave to rest for 5 to 10 mins to cool down. Then enjoy.
