- 4 tbsp buttermilk
- 16 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp White sugar
- 1 tsp baking power
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp salt
Sift dry ingredients together in a mixing bowl
- 1 egg
- 16 tbsp water or milk
- 2 tbsp vegetable or canola oil
Add beaten egg, water and oil.
Beat until batter is smooth. DO NOT OVER-MIX
Drop a spoon full of batter on a hot, greased pan.
Cook until the top is full of tiny bubbles and the underside in brown. Flip onto another side.
