Melt butter. Drain the canned whole kernel sweet corn. Preheat oven to 400 F with an empty 9” pan inside.
Mix together dry ingredients: flour, cornmeal, baking soda and baking powder, and salt.
Mix together wet ingredients: eggs, milk, sugar, maple syrup, lime juice and melted butter.
Add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and fold in the sweet corn kernels.
Carefully take out the pan and pour in the batter. Bake at 400 F for 25-30 minutes or until the knife/toothpick comes out clean. Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
