- ⅛ cup butter (room temperature)
- ⅛ cup sugar
- hand mixer with beaters
- Large mixing bowl
In a large mixing bowl combine butter and sugar in till fluffy.

- ⅛ egg (room temperature)
- ⅛ tsp Lemon extract
- ⅛ tsp vanilla extract
- spatula
Add the egg, vanilla extract and lemon extract

- ⅛ tsp salt
- ⅛ tsp baking powder
Add the baking powder and salt.

- ⅛ cups All purpose flour
Slowly add in the flour. It should be a little sticky.

Split the dough in two. Wrap each half in plastic wrap, and let it chill in the fridge for it least one hour.

After the dough has chilled, preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

- ¼ pinches flour (for sprinkling)

Take one half of the dough out. Sprinkle flour on the counter and roll the dough out. It should be a 1/4 inch thick.

Cut out the shapes. Carefully put the shapes on the pans.

Bake the first set of cookies for 10 minutes.

Take the other half of the dough out of the fridge and do the same thing.

Cool the cookies on the rack.
