Ingredients

butter (soft)

brown sugar

eggs
¼ cups
bananas (overripe)
cup
chocolate chip

Utensils

3 whisks, bowl (small), bowl (large), 2 rubber spatulas, baking pan (9x5 in.), serrated knife (optional), fork (optional)

  • Step 1/8

    Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a 5” x 9” pan.

  • Step 2/8

    • ¼ cups flour
    • cup unsweetened cocoa powder
    • tsp baking soda
    • tsp baking powder
    • whisk
    • bowl (small)

    Combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and baking powder in a small mixing bowl. Set aside

  • Step 3/8

    • cup butter (soft)
    • cup brown sugar
    • cup sugar
    • bowl (large)
    • whisk

    Cream together butter, brown sugar, and sugar until fluffy.

  • Step 4/8

    • eggs
    • whisk

    Add eggs one at a time

  • Step 5/8

    • ¼ cups bananas (overripe)
    • cup chocolate chip
    • rubber spatula

    Fold in bananas and chocolate chips

  • Step 6/8

    Slowly fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined. Do not over mix!

  • Step 7/8

    • baking pan (9x5 in.)

    Pour mixture into bread pan and bake at 350°F for 40-50 minutes.

    *Optional* ~ Carefully remove bread from pan and cut into slices. Or just eat it right out the pan like I do 😁
