"I usually prefer to serve the chicken on the side with grilled vegetables and pasta. Feel free to add the cooked butter gravy from the chicken to the pasta for additional flavour."

chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)
166⅔ ml
double cream
133⅓ g
cooked pasta
66⅔ g
oyster mushrooms
1⅔ cloves
garlic
tbsp
butter
tbsp
oregano
tbsp
dried parsley
tbsp
chives
tsp
onion powder
tsp
garlic powder
tsp
cayenne pepper
tbsp
oil
tsp
salt
tsp
pepper

    Mix oregano powder, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne, pepper and half the salt.

  • Step 2/7

    Sprinkle this mixture on both sides of tenderised chicken breasts and let rest for 15 minutes.

    Heat oil in a pan and cook the chicken breasts for 5 minutes on each side until cooked through.

    Heat the butter in another pan and lightly fry up the sliced mushrooms and crushed garlic.

    Add cream and simmer for 5 minutes to thicken and add the dried herbs and remaining salt.

    Add cooked pasta to the creamy sauce and mix well over heat for 5 minutes.

  • Step 7/7

    You can either serve the chicken breast on the side or chop it into chunks and add to the pasta and mix before taking it off the heat.
