Ingredients

2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
2 cups water
4 cups milk
12 oz Medium shell pasta
¾ tsp salt
¼ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp onion powder
½ tsp smoked paprika powder
¼ tsp Black pepper
4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups Steamed broccoli florets

Utensils

  • Step 1/6

    • 2 tbsp butter
    • 2 tbsp flour
    • whisk
    • Large pot

    Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add the flour, then whisk until combined, about 30 seconds.

    • 2 cups water

    Pour in the water and whisk until smooth and just thickened

    • 4 cups milk
    • Whisk

    Add the milk and whisk until combined.

    • 12 oz Medium shell pasta
    • ¾ tsp salt
    • ¼ tsp garlic powder
    • ¼ tsp onion powder
    • ½ tsp smoked paprika powder
    • ¼ tsp Black pepper
    • Stirrer

    Stir in the shell pasta, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika and pepper, then bring the mixture to a simmer

    Cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is done

    • 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
    • 2 cups Steamed broccoli florets

    Turn the heat to low, then stir in the cheese. Keep stirring until the sauce is smooth. Stir in the broccoli, then serve.
