Ingredients

250 ml
rice
1 tsp
ginger (grated)
2 tsp
Pilau Masala
2
tomatoes
250 ml
water
oil (for frying)
salt
Step 1/ 3
- 1 onion
- oil (for frying)
Finely slice the onion and slowly brown it (almost burned) in a generous amount of oil.
Step 2/ 3
- 1 tsp ginger (grated)
- 250 ml rice
- 2 tsp Pilau Masala
- salt
Rinse the rice and add it to the onions. Add the Pilau Masala (recipe in my cookbook) and ginger as well as salt to taste.
Step 3/ 3
- 2 tomatoes
- 250 ml water
Dice the tomato and add it to the rice. Douse all with the water. Cook the rice until the water is gone and the rice is dry and fluffy.
