Baked Sausages with potatoes and colourful peppers
- 5 medium potatoes
Preheat the oven at about 180°C. Peel the potatoes, cut them in pieces as you wish and put them in a pan. The smaller they are, the less time they need to be baked.
- ½ lemon (the juice)
- 1 tbsp oregano
- ½ tbsp sweet paprika powder
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- salt, pepper
Add the lemon juice, oregano, paprika, salt, pepper and olive oil in the pan and mix them all together.If the sausages are two spicy don't add too much salt and pepper.
Add some water in the pan and bake them for around 40' covered with aluminium foil. After some time check if any water is needed and add some in order to avoid any burning of the potatoes.
- 150 g sausages
- 1½ bell peppers
Cut the the peppers and the sausages and add them over the potatoes in the oven and continue baking uncovered. Always make sure that there are enough fluids in the pan. If not just add water just to avoid any burning.
Once the potatoes are softer after almost an hour in the oven, mix all the ingredients in the pan and continue baking until everything is cooked through. Make sure in the meantime that there are enough fluids in the pan. If not just add water just to avoid any burning.
