“This is a recipe I used to teach daily living skills to my special education class. My students learned about meal preparation and developed basic cooking skills. This recipe is easy and can be modified to a variety of culinary levels. It also can be prepared ahead of time and taste wonderful as leftovers.”

Ingredients

¼ cup Onions, minced
1 tbsp Vegetable oil
2 lbs Lean ground beef
Eggs
¾ cup Bread crumbs
½ cup Whole milk
⅛ tsp Salt
½ tsp Pepper
2 tsp Onion powder
½ tsp Garlic powder
spaghetti sauce

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    • ¼ cup Onions, minced
    • 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
    • 2 lbs Lean ground beef
    • Eggs
    • ¾ cup Bread crumbs
    • ½ cup Whole milk
    • ⅛ tsp Salt
    • ½ tsp Pepper
    • 2 tsp Onion powder
    • ½ tsp Garlic powder

    Add ingredients to a large bowl. Mix until blended together in the bowl. You can use a spatula or your clean hands.

    Shape beef mixture into 1 to 2-inch meatballs; place on baking sheet.

    Bake until thoroughly cooked, about 10 to 12 minutes.

    You can serve plain or drench meatballs with spaghetti sauce. Enjoy!
